We remember Mr. Gill fondly and are sorry to hear of his passing. I know my son will treasure his memories of the time he spent with him. We were his neighbor for a few years. Timothy would go running out the door to see if Mr. Gill was out tinkering in his shed or working on the deer he got early that morning. Mr. Gill was always a good friend to my son, just a little boy, curious and full of energy, he was always welcoming and patient with Timothy. He let him "help" with the deer and work on projects. I don't know what they chat about, but my son sure did love his buddy Mr. Gill. I know he will be sad he can't be there to pay his respects and bid farewell to his old friend. I only found out this morning and Timothy has to be at work at 11. He sends his condolences, but he knows his friend had a wonderful life, and is moving on to his next great adventure. Timothy will always treasure the memories and experiences he had with a kind old man who was his neighbor and friend when he was a little boy. I'm sure he will tell stories of his time spent with his buddy Mr. Gill one day to his own children and grandchildren. He was a treasure, we are grateful to him for the patience and kindness he gave to my little boy all those years ago.
