I have known Shirley since 1987 from Church. She was a quiet woman but she showed her love in many ways. She ALWAYS hugged me. Will miss her very much.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Aunt Shirley was a rock in our family! She kept us coming together and eating together and always made everyone feel like he or she was her favorite! I never missed a chance to tell her how beautiful she was and that I loved her. I will miss her so much and was so glad that God put her in my life. I will keep Uncle John and her entire family in my prayers. Her immediate family is an example of love and togetherness
God bless yall and Aunt Shirley's legacy!
With love,
Johnny Ogle

Shirley was one of the most GODLY women this family has ever had the distinct privilege to know. Her example of a CHRISTian wife, mother, grandmother and friend are forever treasured by our family. She was like a second mother and grandmother to so many people , especially us. . She was a Mother in Zion to many of us ladies at FT. She taught us so much about serving JESUS with joy and commitment. She taught us to love and cherish the BODY of CHRIST , and to faithfully love and serve HIS people. She displayed to us through the yrs. what a Proverbs 31 woman looked and acted like. She walked the CHRISTian Walk with very little talk... it was so obvious that she , in her quiet and humble way, knew JESUS in the most amazing fashion. Her passing was just like her life...ever focused on bringing glory to JESUS. During her sickness, I called her every few weeks just to check in and tell her we loved her much... she never complained about her sickness, but always said that her main goal was to bring glory to THE LORD. There was no fear of death in her, just that perfect love by which fear had no place within her heart. I'd prefer no goodbyes from the Jackson's who loved her dearly...just a " see you later Mama Shirley... and thanks for everything you poured into our lives for these 50 years! " We Jimmy, Luann and Cliff and family!
Thank you for sharing Mrs Shirley with us. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. We love y'all! With our deepest sympathy.
Love Aunt Shirley dearly and will miss her. She was kind and strong and loved everyone. I love all of y'all.
With loving memories of Aunt Shirley and praying for the family.
