I just read of Sara Tom's passing. She was a very good friend of my mother's for many years as they worked together at Russell. Sara Tom was always so kind and sweet. My sincere condolences to her family. --Lynn Wilson Cox

I am Henry Tobin, son of Monnie Jo Price Tobin & nephew of Shirley Dovel. Growing up in the Niagara Falls area I only got to see Aunt Sara on our family trips to see Mom's folks in Alabama & I'll always remember how kind and sweet Aunt Sara was to us during our visits. After my mother passed in 2014, her, Aunt Shirley & I met up in Alex City and went to lunch on the lake. We had a wonderful time driving around town and reminiscing. She was a comfort to me after losing my mother cause of course she had known my mother since way back when and shared stories and showed me places my mother & aunt had spent time at during their childhoods. I enjoyed hearing her & Aunt Shirley talk about old times. I want her family to know our family loved her very much & we know she is at peace and with God now.

I remember Ms Price as a wonderful Sunday School teacher at Calvary Heights Baptist church. She really represented Christ to me. I know she is in heaven now. Marcia Davis

As Morgan grew up Sara Tom would always mail all occasion cards to him while we were living on the Gulf Coast. That was extra special to him to receive mail with his name on it. Mother (Juanita Price) enjoyed visiting with her often. She will truly be missed. Love and prayers.
