Mr. Robert Henry Sheppard's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mr. Robert Henry Sheppard, 69, of Montgomery, will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00 am at Hillview Memorial Park. Randy Anderson will officiate.
Mr. Sheppard passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born on September 2, 1950 in Troy, Alabama to Eleanor Aplin Jones and Paul S. Jones. He was a graduate of Troy University and also from Cumberland School of Law. He taught at Troy University and developed the Math and Science Tutorial Lab there. He was an avid reader and enjoyed watching old movies. He was a great animal lover and was forever adopting strays.
He is survived by his sister, Beverly Stabler (Richard) of Montgomery; niece, Lauren McClinton (Mark); nephew, Michael Stabler; and great-nieces, Caroline McClinton and Anne Stabler McClinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and special friend, Byron Bence.
The family requests no flowers and memorial contributions may be made to any humane society.
