Otis was received by his Savior on the morning of July 6, 2024. He was born in Covington County, Alabama, to Jeff Worley and Quinell Pitts Worley on May 2, 1956. Mr. Worley was a proud Christian and attended Family Worship Center on Sewell Street. During his life, Otis proudly served his country in the United States Army. He then went on to work for many years as a Helicopter Mechanic. As much as he enjoyed his work, nothing took a higher place in his life than his family. Otis deeply loved his wife, Kellie, and enjoyed time spent with his children. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he never missed a chance to enjoy their company.
In his free time, Mr. Worley enjoyed working in his garden and spending his afternoons hunting or fishing. He loved history and astrology, and his eyes would light up when he shared his knowledge with his family and friends. To say he will be missed is a massive understatement. He is truly irreplaceable to his family and friends, and, although they rejoice his presence in Heaven, his missing presence on Earth will forever be felt.
Otis is survived by his wife, Kellie Pike Worley; children, Jacob (Nikki) Worley, Jana Worley, Austin Lee (Delfina) Pike, Liam I. Worley; grandchildren, Oakley G. Smith, Kelby G. Worley, Aurora J. Worley, Janice-Lynn R. Worley; special nephew, Alexander M. (Dana) Sharpe; siblings, David Worley, Elsie Wages, Betty Odom; brothers-in-law, Joe Pike, Brian Pike; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff & Quinell Worley; sisters, Dian (Bo) Sims, Linda (Ray) Hollinghead, Lynn (Roy) Creech; brothers-in-law, Norman Wages, Jim Odom; sister-in-law, Sheila Worley; mother-in-law, Janice Pike; and father-in-law, Kenneth Pike.
