Otis was a book of knowledge and such a great person to work with. It really was pleasure to work with him and will never be forgotten. My deepest condolences for his family and it's a great loss in the aviation community.
I have no idea where to start because he was so many different things for me. He cared for me and loved me even when I couldn't love myself, he was brave and never showed fear, he was perfect to me and I can't make anyone understand the way he lit up a room with his smile and his laughter. It was always contagious, he was smart, kind and funny. He was a man of few words but still very loving and caring, he always helped the ones who needed help. He was hard working and always looking for a way to teach me about the outdoors he loved telling me all about the plants, the wildlife, the stars and moon. He used to always tell me that if I ever missed him I could look at the moon and he'd be looking at it with me and we would be with each other. My daddy was my hero in so many ways he taught me how I was to be loved and treated, he taught me how to fix my own cars, he taught me how to make sure I always had a giving heart. My daddy was the most amazing man in my life. It's going to be hard without him but I will go on because I know he is with me and would want me too keep going. I hope I make him proud everyday and I'll never stop loving him. He is a one in a million kinda guy.
Otis was one of the inspectors that mentored me as I was training to be Quality Assurance. I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time working along side him and learning from him. RIP brother
