Mrs. Nellie Ferguson's Obituary
Mrs. Nellie Ferguson, 97, passed away at Chapman's Nursing Home on April 4, 2025. She will be buried at Swamp Creek Cemetery on Monday, April 7, 2025, with no services per her request. She was born on October 7, 1927, to Gertrude and Osie Bush in Coosa County.
She was survived by her four children; LaJean (Carl) Guthery, Danny Bush, Nancy (Mike) Heck, and George Ferguson. She was also survived by her grandchildren; Gina (Harold) Whatley, Shelia (Tony) Harris, Sarah (Shane Wall) Guthery, William Bush, Zara Bush, Sid Miles, Brian (Christina) Miles, Marie (Reed Santiago) Manasco, April Williams, C.J. (Stephanie) Ferguson, and Elizabeth (Nic ) Weymouth. She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Joseph Ferguson; and granddaughter, Ann Mims.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Chapman's Healthcare Center for taking good and loving care of Mrs. Nellie.
