Nancy Amanda Gilliland's Obituary
Funeral Service for Nancy Amanda Gilliland, 63, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Gilliland, Rev. Roger Kendrick, and Rev. Terry Herron will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home.
Amanda passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at her residence. She was born on July 24, 1955 in Alexander City, Alabama to McHaney Gilliland and Christine Fomby Gilliland. Amanda was a retired surgical nurse from Emory University Hospital. She was a member of Lake Martin Baptist Church. She enjoyed riding horses when she was younger, had a love for Lake Martin and the summer, always enjoyed the holidays, was an avid Alabama Football fan, and was a very patriotic person with a special love for her Country and the Military. Amanda had a love for animals and was Mom to many rescues throughout the years.
She is survived by her brother, Charles Gilliland (Kathy); niece, Ele Gilliland; aunts, Martha Stuckey, Anne Forbus and Irene Lamb (Harold); and her uncle, Clark Gilliland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mack Wayne Gilliland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Radney Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
