Amanda was so special to me and my husband. Terry was her Deacon and she called me her Deaconess. She really was my sweet sister in CHRIST.I know Amanda loved Lake Martin Baptist Church. She loved serving the LORD in functions at church. She especially loved Vacation Bible School and Fall Festival.Amanda also loved singing in the choir. She loved taking Spark Plug with her to Bill Nichols Veterans Home to cheer up our veterans. She loved rescuing animals nobody wanted. She took care of them as a mother does for her children. We had Amanda over for Thanksgiving last year and watched football games together. I am so blessed to have known her and will miss her greatly. I take comfort in knowing one day we will be reunited. Love you Amanda! Terry and Debra
Amanda, I will never forget you. You were my mentor when I began my career in the operating room. Your guidance, professionalism, positivity, and, most importantly, your friendship were instrumental in my desire to succeed. I do, and always will, miss you but your memory will remain with me for the rest of my life.
Amanda, you were not only my cousin but one of my friends all through Russell School and Benjamin Russell High School. We shared a love of animals (dogs especially) and had gotten close again this past year. You are now at rest with a wonderful reunion with your beloved parents, brother Wayne and all of your special fur babies who crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I will miss you! Love, your cousin & friend, Sandra Neighbors Bryars

A candle extinguished on earth is now shining brightly in heaven. Amanda was a coworker and friend at Emory University Hospital for many years. She somehow started calling me Lulu and that name has stuck so there are instances where new employees think it’s my given name. That’s Amanda, a lot of fun, a true friend, hard worker, dedicated to ensuring her beloved dogs and bird have the best lives. She will forever be in our hearts. Sleep in peace dear friend.........Lorraine James.
