Lonnie was a great man! I remember every time I saw him he always gave me a big hug and asked how my Gavin was doing. He never failed to show love and compassion to those who needed it. He will be greatly missed!

I have known Lonnie for a long time and you couldn't have asked for a better friend. Jackson Drug will not be the same without him. It will be so hard going in there knowing he is not going to be there to make me laugh or just to brighten my day. That's what he done on a daily basis. Well I can say without a doubt you have loved me since since birth but when I was 14 years old you and Margie Ann took me in as your own when you didn't have to and gave me a very loving home and a very loving life and pushed me to be the best me. No matter where I was in life or what was going on You always told me how proud you were of me and I am forever grateful for you Lonnie. I love you just like I truly belong to you and you always made me feel that love. You've always loved Michael as he was your own. You make everyone around you feel love. Wow, where to start? You've loved me as your own all these years. Even when we haven't seen each other for years at a time, we picked right back up like we just saw each other yesterday. You put up with all our shenanigans through the years and had a smile on your face even when you were "scolding" us (if that's what you can even call it, lol). Lonnie knew me before I knew him. As a child I always got my medicine from Jackson drugs and Lonnie was so much more than a sweet face , anytime he spotted us he always went out of his way to come say hello to me and mom and check in on the family he always gave me the biggest hugs and kissed my head and would tell me how proud of me he was. When I left Alabama to move to Georgia he told me "baby girl you're gonna do big things, I love you." He would always check in from time to time . I'm gonna miss his sweet hugs
