Jesse and his sweet wife, Fay, were the first neighbors to welcome us to the neighborhood when we moved to Riverdale, GA nearly 50 years ago. They were the kind of neighbors you could rely on for anything that came up. I have fond memories of Jesse hauling his boat to go fishing early in the morning, growing a bumper crop veggie garden each year, puttering around in his shed in the backyard and sometimes just relaxing with Fay in their lovely country-style home. His infectious smile and laughter will forever remain in my mind.
