Jack was born in Carnegie Oklahoma, May 10,1935. He was the second of four sons born to Etna and lee Anthony. After high school he served in the Marines and was part of the competitive Marksmanship Competition for the 1954 Honor P Read Obituary
Jack will be missed. He was such a good and kind man. Doc and I were blessed to have him as a friend.

Jack was an exceptional human being. Everyone in his presence felt welcomed, warm, and loved. I never saw him refuse to help someone needing it, but perhaps more importantly he often didn't wait for them to ask. He worked hard, one of the most diligent men I've known.
Jack and Jane took me into their home and treated me like a son. They put me through college. They fed and clothed me. Jack had his own way of doing things, but even when he was grumpy he would smile when he saw his family. Jack loved me, and I will continue to love him and miss him the rest of my life.
Jack was the kind of man I want to be. I will always remember him, his horrible jokes, and his laugh.

Well first, grandpapa was the best grandfather anyone could've ever asked for! I always loved going to the lake to see grandmama and grandpapa!! I loved spending every Christmas with you and grandmama. All those times we went tubin and you'd throw us off the tube, we'd fire you then hire you back so you'd take us tubin again!! When y'all had a beach condo one floor below us and I'd come down and hangout with y'all! You were always at our school/church functions! No matter what we had going on, you were there!! Our family will truly miss you! ❤️
