Mrs. Genie Bramlett's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Genie Bramlett, 78, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Jordan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bramlett passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Brown Nursing Home. She was born on December 10, 1943 in Alexander City, Alabama to James Freeman Hodnett and Janie Maude Blanks Hodnett. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Bramlett retired from Russell Corp. as a Telecommunications Administrator after over 40 years of service. She attended County Line Baptist Church when she was able. Mrs. Bramlett enjoyed teaching line dancing and clogging. She also enjoyed taking care of animals, painting, camping, and playing computer and video games.
She is survived by her son, James "Kerry" Bramlett; grandchildren, Erica Bramlett, Matthew Bramlett, and Ian Bramlett; and great-grandson, Tyler Parrott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Oliver Bramlett and parents.
