Growing up, Daphne was a fixture at our house as our families were very close. I can remember that every time she came over, she was asked to play the piano and sing. What a remarkable talent. I always enjoyed reading about Daphne and her career of music. I even read once that she sang with Jim Nabors. WOW. Her talent was unique and she explored it to the fullest. My comfort is knowing that she is making beautiful music in Heaven.
I love you, Daphne Grimsley. The gifts you gave to me many years ago when we were both considerably younger have stayed with me throughout my life. I am eternally grateful to you for believing in me, Daphne. If our souls meet again, in the hereafter, we’ll sing a duet.
