Barry was a special member of our Red Mountain Chamber Orchestra for so many years. He was always there, knew his part, and ready to chat with any of us, even a string player like myself. At our last concert he discussed with me his dilemma about the medical treatment recommended by his doctors, and knew he needed to make a decision. He was very brave and I admire him.

I am very sad to hear of Barry's passing. I shared an office with Barry when I started work at the Personnel Board. He was a character! We had a lot of fun. I'll never see a Moon-Pie without thinking of Barry. I hope that your memories of Barry will be a comfort to you in all the days to follow.
