Mrs. Zelle Blocker's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Zelle Blocker, 99, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson and Bro. Dwayne Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Blocker passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Chapman Healthcare Center.
She was born on March 2, 1927, in Clay County, Alabama to Herbert Otto Baker and Leola Leftwich Baker.
Zelle received an associate’s degree from Southern Union in Business Administration. She retired from Kimberly Clark Corporation with 40 years of service. Zelle had a green thumb and grew some beautiful flowers. Living on Lake Martin she enjoyed spending time out on the boat and visiting with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with the senior groups on numerous bus tours.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleon Blocker; son, Mark Blocker; sisters, Margalene Morris, Ivilyn Johnston, Regina McClain, Wyllogene Jordan and Lalavaughn Grizzard.
