The bonds of family were the cornerstone of her life, a value she held dear and passed on to her own children.
Yvonne's heart was the hearth of her home, where she raised her five children with boundless affection and gentle guidance. She is survived by her loving husband, David Estes, devoted sons, Kevin (Cathy) Smith, Kelly Smith and her loving daughters, Laura (Michael Walker) Yoder, Kimberly Fitch and Kristen Estes. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit and wisdom, a testament to her role as a nurturing mother.
Her grandchildren, Andrew (Karli) Smith, Brad (Maddie Williams) Smith, Justin Lyle, James Lyle, and Jaiden Lyle, grew up basking in the glow of her love and the joy of her laughter. Yvonne's great-grandchildren, Bryli Smith, Olivia Smith, Stella Kate Smith, and Kenley Ayala, were the apples of her eye, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her love for her family was her greatest pride, and she leaves behind a legacy of familial devotion that will continue to flourish for generations to come.
Yvonne's zest for life was evident in her passions. She had an extraordinary talent for decorating homes, transforming each space into a haven of warmth and beauty, especially during the holidays. Her flair for design brought joy to many and made every celebration a visual feast. Her love for animals was profound, and throughout her years, she cared for many dogs, cats, and birds, each of whom found a special place in her heart.
A woman of many interests, Yvonne cherished the simple pleasures of life. She relished watching movies and traveling to the mountains with her beloved husband, where they shared many treasured moments. The Apple Barn in Pigeon Forge held a special place in her heart, as it was a favorite spot to dine and create memories with her family.
Yvonne's kind spirit, loving nature, and funny anecdotes will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her cherished caregiver, Krista Yarbrough, who provided comfort and companionship in her final days, will also feel the absence of Yvonne's bright presence.
