Wilmer Lyle "Jack" Jackson, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Wilmer Lyle "Jack" Jackson Jr., 68, of Newnan, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at his residence. He was born on September 9, 1955. He served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. Jack worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed classic cars and motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Stevenson of Newnan, GA; sons, Scott Jackson and Bobby Jackson; daughter, Shannon Hammond; step-sons, Nathan Baine (Beth) and Brian Stevenson (Taylor); step-daughter, Amanda Stevenson; nephew, Steven Cherry (Missy); and eleven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
