Mrs. Willie Mae Childers' Obituary
Mrs. Willie Mae Mitchell Childers, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her residence. She was born on May 9, 1937 in Lineville, Alabama to Frank M. Mitchell and Allie M. Latham Mitchell. She enjoyed keeping her house, flower gardening and going to the casinos. She had such a giving heart and would do anything to help others.
She is survived by her children, Scotty Jones (Tammie), Elizabeth Johns, Rodney Jones (Laura) and Ken Jones (Marilyn); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother, Johnny Wayne Mitchell; brother-in-law, Jimmy Childers (Eleanor); sisters-in-law, Sarah Hendrix and Mable Jarvis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Charley Childers and Howard Jones; son, Lynn Jones; and daughter, Rebecca Spivey.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Ivy Creek Hospice for the wonderful love, care and support that was given and shown to Mrs. Childers.
