Mr. William Olney Thornell's Obituary
Graveside service for William Olney Thornell, 89, of Alexander City, will be Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Randy Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Thornell passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at University of Alabama Hospital. He was born on January 22, 1926 in Elmore County Alabama to Ocie Kyle Thornell and Mable Eugenia Thornton Thornell. Mr. Thornell was a very caring man. He enjoyed rebuilding cars.
He is survived by his son; Randall Lynn Thornell (Judy), of Jacksons Gap; daughters-in-laws, Carol Thornell and Brenda Thornell; friend, Earline Locke; grandchildren, Lisa Fuller (George), Joey Thornell (Alissa), Donna Thornell, Steven Thornell (Bridgett), Karen Alford (John) and Kelly Thornell; and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, William Don Thornell, William Freddie Thornell and Sister Inez Goerner.
