Mr. William Charles Cotney's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mr. William Charles Cotney will be Sunday, April 19,2015 at 3:00 pm at the Rock Springs Baptist Church in Jackson's Gap, AL. Rev. Jeremy Williams will officiate.
Mr. Cotney passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born on October 22, 1955 in Alexander City, Alabama to Russell Cotney and Jewel Dean Melton Jackson. He was a big fisherman and enjoyed weekend camping and fishing excursions with his nephews. He worked as a mechanic for the City of Alexander City and companies in Tennessee and Florida. Charles enjoyed gardening and was a big prankster.
He is survived by his sisters, Anna Reed of Daviston, Melba Dean Albright of Dadeville, and Teresa Eiland (Albert), of Wadley; brother, Danny Russell Cotney (Tamma), of Goodwater; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents.
The family requests no flowers but donations to Radney Funeral Home may be made to offset funeral expenses.
