Mrs. Wanda Sue Sanders Kirkland's Obituary
Funeral service for Mrs. Wanda Sue Sanders Kirkland, 75, of Alexander City, will be Friday, August 27, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home with Rev. Vince Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday for one hour prior to the service. \r\n\r\nMrs. Kirkland passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at her residence. She was born on September 24, 1934 in Sylacauga, Alabama to William H. (Bill) Sanders and Inez Catchings Sanders. She was a member of Hillabee Baptist Church. She worked as a homemaker and was a good cook. Mrs. Kirkland enjoyed singing and going to church. She loved her church family and enjoyed Braves Baseball. \r\n\r\nShe is survived by her uncle and aunt, A. J. and Geraldyne Catchings of Alexander City; sister-in-law, Marie Moncrief of Alexander City; brother-in-law, Willie Kirkland of Sylacauga and numerous cousins.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Kirkland.
