Mrs. Virginia Sue Flournoy's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mrs. Sue Flournoy, 62, of Goodwater, will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Bro. Tony Thornburg will officiate.
Mrs. Flournoy passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Russell Medical. She was born on June 30, 1959, in Mansfield, OH, to George Washington Burton and Geraldine Burton Reed Cole. Sue was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had a strong work ethic and instilled that in her children. Her hobbies included gardening, canning and cooking for the family.
She is survived by husband of 13 years, Jeff Flournoy; mother, Geraldine Burton Cole; children, Jeannette Vinson, B.J. Armstrong (Rebecca), Jolene Scott, Cody Flournoy, Alex Flournoy; grandchildren, David Vinson, Angel Vinson, Jonathon Vinson, Kathryn Armstrong, Dylon Armstrong, Tori Scott, Robert Scott; sister, Judy Thomas; brothers, Eddie Burton, Frank Burton, Ransom Burton, Ray Burton and Carlious Burton.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Washington Burton.
