Tim passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at his home. He was born on January 6, 1958 in Alexander City, Alabama to Oscar Turner Presley and Irene Jones Presley. Tim was a down-to-earth man with a passion for music, especially gospel and country music. He loved singing karaoke and was notorious for his go-to performances of "Harper Valley P.T.A." or any Conway Twitty song. When he wasn't performing, Tim could be found working on construction projects for work or for leisure. He was always building something and was considered a talented woodworker. The only thing he loved more than singing and woodworking was spending time with his grandchildren, who they affectionately called "Paw Paw Tim." Although stubborn at times, he was good-hearted, funny, and hard, yet gentle, when he needed to be. "There was always love in daddy's hands."
Tim is survived by his children, Bradley (Jackie) Presley, Karen Ann (Barry) Maddox, Christy Dawn (Jeremy) Smith, Eddie (April) Roberts; grandchildren, Colby Maddox, Magan (Chance) Maddox, Camren Davis, Devin Davis, Van-Brylon Presley, Chad Roberts, Cody (Alexis) Roberts; great-grandchild, Oakland Mae Davis; brother, William Ladon (Cathy) Presley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Carol Presley; brothers, Oscar Terry Presley, Vincent Wade Presley; and parents, Oscar and Irene Presley.
Radney Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Timothy Van Presley.
