With profound sadness and an enduring sense of love, we announce the passing of Mr. Timothy Wayne Kellum "Hoss", a man of remarkable character and an unforgettably vibrant spirit. Timothy left this world peacefully, surrounded by those who cherished him, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, hard work, and heartwarming memories.
Timothy was born into the loving arms of his mother and raised with a deep sense of family unity that he carried throughout his life. Timothy's mother, Joan Scroggins of Dadeville, AL, instilled in him the virtues of kindness and resilience.A devoted father, Timothy's legacy is carried on by his children: Roman Micah Kellum (Amber) of Alexander City, AL, Austin Hamilton Kellum of Alexander City, AL, and Samantha JoAnne Horton (Justin) of Auburn. Each of them reflects a piece of their father's spirit, from his tenacity to his boundless affection.Timothy was a beloved brother, leaving behind Marcus Emanuel Kellum, Christopher Don Kellum (Cathy), and Larcus Allen Fuller Jr. (Kim). His nephews, Myles Kellum, William Kellum, and his great-nephew, Briggs Kellum, along with his niece, Lindsey Shurden (Hunter), will miss his guiding presence, his humor, and the fun times they shared. His best friend, Ray Simpson, will feel the absence of a friendship that was as solid as the earth and as inspiring as the sky.Professionally, Timothy was known as a "hell of a builder," a title he earned through his remarkable craftsmanship and unwavering dedication. His work stands as a testament to his skill.Timothy's interests were a reflection of his love for the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. His joy in these activities was infectious, and he was always at his happiest when surrounded by nature. His work ethic was unparalleled, an "extremely hard worker," as those who knew him would say, but he always made time to enjoy the world around him.It is rare to encounter a person who can be described as both intelligent and funny, but Timothy was the embodiment of both. His wit could light up a room, and his loving nature drew people to him. He had a knack for making everyone feel special, and his laughter was a gift he gave freely. Timothy's intelligence was not just of the mind but of the heart, and his capacity for love knew no bounds. As we bid farewell to Timothy, we are reminded of the impact one life can have on so many. He was a great person and a great friend, a man whose life was as rich as the soil he walked upon and as expansive as the skies he loved to explore. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.Timothy's life was a journey of joy, challenges, and triumphs-a journey that has not ended but has merely taken on a new form. As we honor his memory, let us carry forward the essence of his being: intelligence, humor, and an all-encompassing love.In bidding Timothy Wayne Kellum "Hoss" farewell, we release a soul back into the wilds he loved so dearly, knowing that his legacy will continue to be felt in every tree, every lake, and in the hearts of all who were privileged to know him.Radney funeral home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Kellum.
