Mr. Thomas E. Jackson's Obituary
Graveside service for Mr. Thomas E. Jackson, 88, of Hoover, will be Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Hillview Memorial Park. Rev. Sid Byler will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Radney Funeral Home. \r\n\r\nMr. Jackson passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Brookwood Medical Center. He was born on May 15, 1925 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Leslie Jackson and Claudie Veazey Jackson. He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. Mr. Jackson enjoyed rebuilding machines, gardening, and doing yard work. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife of 69 years, Elizabeth Neighbors Jackson of Hoover; daughter, Brenda Miller of Hoover; son, Barry Jackson of Hoover; grandchildren, Jennifer Miller, MD of Hoover and Janet Skotnicki (Michael) of Homewood; sister, Edweina Kilpatrick of Atlanta, GA; brother, Veazey Jackson (Bobbie Jean) of Decatur; and brother-in-law, Joe Hand of Alexander City.\r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Luna Belle Hand.\r\n
