Mr. Thomas Lee Hickman's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mr. Thomas Lee Hickman, 78, of Alexander City, will be Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Duncan Memorial Methodist Church. Pastor Gerald Carnes will officiate.
Mr. Hickman passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his residence. Tommy was born on March 12, 1946 in Clay County to Charlie Cecil Hickman and Sarah Pearl Harkins Hickman. He was a faithful member of Duncan Memorial Methodist Church. Tommy worked for 45 years at Madix. He served his country in the National Guard for 6 years in Goodwater. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon LaFaye Newman Hickman of Alexander City; daughter, Pam (Larry) Ward of Kodak, TN; son, Joshua (Rebecca) Hickman of Hanceville; grandchildren, Kevin (Bridgett) Coger, Chris (Heather) Coger, Ayda Hickman, and James Hickman; great-grandchild, Aiden Levi Coger; and sister, Polly Hickman of Millerville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.
