Nancie W. Albin
I first met Terry when he came to play with the Columbus Cubs, the men's recreational baseball league, in the early 70's. He loved sports and displayed sportsmanship on and off the field.
Terry was outgoing, funny, loved people, and especially young people. That is why he built his career coaching and teaching . Until his health set limitations on just what he could do.
Years passed, I moved away, and married. Terry married and had two beautiful children. The Cubs came together to honor the passing of one of our own, George Renfroe. This was in 2002. I caught up with my old Cub friends including Terry and met Karson and Seth, who was a baby. Terry was so proud of his children! He was happy watching them grow and being involved in their lives on a day to day basis.
This was the last time I visited with Terry. My memories of Terry will always be of how much he loved his children. His beautiful smile and how he was always a gentleman.
To Karson and Seth,
A Dad leaves his mark in the world through the love he gives his children.
The loss of a father is never easy, but what stays with you keeps him alive in your heart,
and that's the loving memories of all you shared together.
I am so sorry for your loss,
Nancie Willis Albin
