Mr. Terrell D. Motes' Obituary
Graveside Service for Mr. Terrell D. Motes, 75, of Alexander City, will be Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Alabama National Cemetery. Rev. Ty Coffey will officiate.
Mr. Motes passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home (Alexander City). He was born on October 31, 1950, in Sylacauga, Alabama.
He is survived by his mother, Marjorie J. Ingram; step-daughter, Rachel Gamble Settle; step-son, Chris (Nicole) Gamble; step-grandchildren, Samantha (Jacob) Reynolds, Delilah Gamble, Savannah Gamble, Amelia Gamble; step-great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Reynolds; sisters, Marilyn R. (Earl) Wesson, Jan I. (Greg) Coffey; brother, Chip Ingram; nieces and nephew, Brandy (Chris) Bocchino, Darby (Seth) Baird, Ty (Lori Anne) Coffey, and Donette (Jeremy) Worthy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Motes; father, Alton Motes and dad, Durward Ingram.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bill Nichols State Veterans Home, 1784 Elkahatchee Road, Alexander City, AL, 35010.
