Mrs. Sugar Sherrie Walker's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Sugar Sherrie Walker, 55, of Titus, Alabama, will be Friday, April 10, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow at Hackneyville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker passed away on April 6, 2026 at UAB Hospital. She was born on May 2, 1970 to John Walker and Sherry McCollum Baumgardner. Sugar lived a life marked by warmth, strength, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that made each day meaningful.
She was known by those who loved her as a woman of steady spirit and genuine kindness, someone who brought comfort, laughter, and a welcoming presence wherever she went. Her life reflected a balance of hard work, devotion to the people and places she cherished, and a joyful love for the outdoors. She carried herself with grace and determination, and she left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mrs. Walker found great happiness in spending time outside, where she felt most at home. She loved fishing the Alabama Bass Trail, and those peaceful moments on the water were among her favorites. She also enjoyed hunting and was always on the lookout for the big buck, embracing the excitement and patience that came with the sport. Whether she was out in nature or simply enjoying the fresh air, she appreciated the beauty of the world around her and the memories created in those quiet, treasured moments.
She also enjoyed the comfort of gathering outdoors to grill and listen to music, where good food and familiar songs brought people together. These times reflected her love of fellowship and her ability to make ordinary moments feel special. She had a way of turning an afternoon or evening into something memorable, and her presence made those around her feel at ease and welcome.
A devoted Alabama Football fan, Mrs. Walker followed her team with enthusiasm and pride. Her loyalty and excitement for the game were part of the spirit that defined her, and she enjoyed sharing that passion with others. Whether cheering during a big game or talking about her team, she brought energy and heart to every season.
Mrs. Walker will be remembered for her love of life, her appreciation for the outdoors, and the joy she found in the traditions and pastimes that meant so much to her. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories, quiet strength, and enduring affection. Her life was a testament to the value of living fully, loving deeply, and finding happiness in the moments that matter most.

She is survived by her husband, Michael W. Hearn, Jr.; step-mother, Rhonda Walker; sisters, Angie Hickman, Vicky Mitchell, and Kayla Tapley; brothers, Jerome Adcock, Daniel Baumgardner, and Robert Walker; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael W. Hearn, Sr. and Sue Hearn; brother-in-law, Charles Hearn; sister-in-law, Monica Hearn; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
