Carol, my heart is so heavy at the news of Steve’s passing. He was one gentle loving soul who had a heart of gold. The love you two had for each other was truly a “God thing”. I’ll always remember the first time I met Steve. You brought him to Brown Nursing Home one Saturday night to meet me while I was working. I was one of your first friends to meet him. He had the sweetest most angelic smile I had ever seen. As we stood outside and talked his eyes would just glow each time he looked at you. You truly adored each other. I can only imagine the emptiness you must feel now but as always our Lord and Savior will be by your side every step of the way. He will never leave you. Plus we know you will see each other again in Heaven. This is not goodbye but see you later. I love you my precious friend and I’ll see you later. RIP sweet Steve.
