Mr. Stephen Michael "Tack" Hardman's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Stephen Michael “Tack” Hardman, 69, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Hardman passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Veteran's Hospital in Birmingham. He was born on July 21, 1952 in Alexander City, Alabama to Tom Frank Hardman and Mary Adele Dennis Hardman Thornton. Tack proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being on the water. He also enjoyed making people laugh and watching old war movies. He worked on the assembly line at Madix for 17 years.
Tack is survived by his daughter, Kaci Hardman; granddaughter, Kynleigh Osbourne; brothers, Butch Hardman (Ruby), Dino Hardman and Billy Ray Wall (Rita); sisters, Debbie Pilgram (Michael), Nancy Phillips and Donna Green; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members that were special to Mike.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Marie Hardman and Adele and Raymond Thornton; and brother, Tommy "Bull" Hardman.
