Ms. Sheila Shivers' Obituary
Funeral Service for Miss Sheila Shivers, 59, of Daviston, Alabama, will be Monday, October 18, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church in Daviston, Alabama. Rev. Bennie Lee Yates and Bro. Ted Price will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Daviston, Alabama. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church in Daviston, Alabama.
Miss Shivers passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at her residence. She was born on June 23, 1962, in Chambers County, Alabama to Charles “Jack” Aaron Shivers and Mary Cumi Moran Shivers. She attended Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church. Sheila loved animals, especially horses. As a teenager she participated in cattle showing events where she would show her prize steers.
She is survived by her sisters, Charlotte Bishop (Calvin), Sharon Whitehead (Kenny), Cheryl Whisenant; nieces, Stephanie Renae Dempsey (Roger), Carla Smith Hudson (David), Catlin Moran Hand (Lee), Jordan Claire McGuire (Dwaine); nephews, John Chadwick Bishop (Amy), Justin Clinton Whitehead (Amber); aunts, Jane Moran, Peggy Smith, Peggy Moran; numerous loving great nieces and nephews, great- great nephew and nieces and a host of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Carl and Annie Ruth Moran and grandparents, Robert Clinton and Rosie Ellen Shivers.
The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Kenny Whitehead, 6719 County Road 79, Daviston, Alabama, 36256.
