Sandra Barnett's Obituary
Sandra Barnett, 74, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away at her son’s home in Alexander City on Friday, April 23, 2021.
She was born on December 17, 1946 in Birmingham, Alabama to Marshall Peter DeMarais and Jocey Lucille Tank DeMarais. Sandra served as a Board Member on the Montgomery County Board of Education. She was involved in Montgomery politics for years and advocated for women’s rights and equality.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, Lester Barnett.
A Celebration of Life will be held later.
