Sammy, or Wild Bill as the residents knew him best, will be so missed. I will miss coming down the hall in the mornings and either hearing him on the phone praying for his friends, or hearing him say good morning to staff as they come into work. His bright smile and cheerful demeanor always cheered me up. I spent many days at Sammy's feet, looking up seeing him smiling through what I knew was uncomfortable. Always saying thank you and wishing me the best after I left his room. Sammy was one of my biggest sweethearts and he will be so missed. To all of the family, my prayers are with you. May you find peace knowing he is comfortable with the Lord, playing his guitar and tipping his hat on the most beautiful front porch imaginable.
