Farming was not just an interest for Sonny; it was a way of life. A lifelong farmer, he treasured the simple joys of plowing his fields and meticulously cutting his lawn. His passion for the outdoors led him to raise Beagle rabbit hunting dogs, and he ran a sawmill on his farm every Saturday. This connection to the land and nature was a core part of who he was.
Sonny's love for his family was unparalleled. He was very active in helping his brothers and sisters, and he cherished the time spent with his grandchildren, who he loved dearly. His presence at family gatherings was always a source of comfort and joy.
