Mr. Roy Jack Newman's Obituary
Mr. Newman was born on January 24, 1956, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Henry Walter Newman and Florence Lorene Newman. He passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at residence. He attended New Pine Grove Baptist Church as a child.
Roy enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after graduating high school and served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed family boat outings with his children and grandchildren on Lake Martin. His hobbies included playing the guitar and listening to music.
He is survived by his sons, Justin Newman (Elizabeth), Rex Newman (Mary Kathryn); grandchildren, Alexander Newman, Annabelle Newman, William Newman, Rynn Newman and sisters, Sue Lumpkin and Sara Jacobs.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
