Mr. Roy William "Red" Moore's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Roy William “Red” Moore, 72, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Andy Kinman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 17, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at East Alabama Medical Center. He was born on October 17, 1948, in Alexander City, Alabama to Doyle Maxwell “Wormy” Moore and Burniece Everett Moore. He was a member of New Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was an outgoing person who loved the outdoors. He loved his family very much.
He is survived by his sons, Scotty Moore (Beth) of New Site, Kevin Moore (Anna) of New Site, William Jason Moore (Tammy) of New Site and Joseph Simmons; grandchildren, Michael Blanks, Allison White, Kevin Moore, Jr., Joseph Peppers, Chloe Moore, Maria Moore, Tess Moore, Jacob Peppers, Carson McDaniel, Elizabeth Moore, Austin Moore, Larkin Moore, and Hadley McDaniel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
