Mr. Ronnie Lee Lashley's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mr. Ronnie Lee Lashley, 72, of Alexander City, will be Saturday, February 4, 2023 at
Hillview Memorial Park. Minister Amy Young will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at the
graveside at 1:00pm.
Family and friends will gather after the graveside service at Stone Ridge Baptist Church at 2:00pm for a
Celebration of Life for Ronnie.
Ronnie was a friend to almost everyone he met. Very much a people person. In his younger years he
loved fishing, hunting and gardening. He was an avid fan of WWE Wrestling. He was known for many
years as “the Belt Man”.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Becky Lashley, for over 52 years. He loved his family very much
and with all his heart. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rebecca Jane Gipson Lashley, daughters: Ginger Lashley Young
(Bill), Charity Rebecca Lashley; grandchildren, Amy Young, Amber Young (Angel), Cliff Young, Trent
Lashley, McKayla Montgomery, sisters, Jeanette Haggerty (James Earl), Rhonda Berry (Ray), Vicki Palmer
(Lesley), brothers, Terrance Kizziah, Daryl Kizziah (Lynn) and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Clifford Lee Lashley and mother Lavinia Smith Lashley Kizziah.
In lieu flowers, Grace’s Flowers gift certificates are encouraged.
