Mr. Ronald Eugene Turner's Obituary
Ronald Eugene Turner, fondly known as Ronnie, of Lake View, Alabama, aged 78, passed peacefully at the home of his oldest daughter on December 14, 2022. His was surround by his beloved wife and children.
He is preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Mike, and his parents, Rose Jordan, and Dixie Turner. He is survived by his brother Jerral Turner, sister Sarah Guthrie, his wife of fifty years, Sue, daughters; Rhonda (Brian), Kellie (Rick), Anna (Chad), son, Ron (Lara), eleven grandchildren, four great grand grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ronnie grew up in Ensley, Alabama and went to work at a young age. He served our country as a member of the Marine Corps and was an Honorary member of the Iron Worker Local 92. His hands built many of the buildings and structures that stand in Birmingham today. He was an avid pool player, a jovial singer, and a great dancer!
Ronnie was a hard-working man, and he instilled that value in all his children. He was a Jack of all Trades and was always willing to lend a hand or his knowledge to help someone in need. He loved life, loved his wife, and loved his children. He will be sorely missed and remembered often.
