Mr. Ronald Barry Champion's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Ronald Barry Champion, 59, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Champion passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Russell Medical. He was born on February 4, 1958 in Alexander City, Alabama to Hubert O. Champion, Jr. and Thelma Gamble Champion. He was a member of New Pine Grove Baptist Church and worked as a technician for Frontier Yarns and previously at Russell Corp. Barry was a wonderful family man and loved them all dearly. He enjoyed traveling, working outside with the tractor, and watching movies.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margaret H. (Janie) Champion of Alexander City; daughters, Jennifer DeVeaux (Darryl) of Lowell, IN and Kelly McLaughlin (Charles) of Alexander City; grandchildren, Jarrayd DeVeaux, Monea' Brooks, and Nadia Brooks; and his mother, Thelma Gamble Champion of Alexander City.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Hubert O. Champion, Jr.
