Mr. Roger Lane Watts' Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Roger Lane Watts, 66, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:30 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor James Burkhalter and Rev. Chris Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Watts passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Russell Medical. He was born on May 3, 1955 in Alexander City, Alabama to Robert A. Watts and Maggie Pearl Wright Watts. He was an active member of Revival Center Jacksons Gap where he served for over 30 years as Minister of Music. He was a faithful Christian and Church Member. He was one of the area’s best auto body repairmen. He dearly loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Joy Watts of Jacksons Gap; daughter, Angel Renee Fincher (Chris Heddings) of Alexander City; grandchildren, Stormy Shyann Griffin and Nickolas Wade Fincher; and brothers, Ricky Andre Watts (Kathy) and Hubert Anthony “Tony” Watts (Susan).
He was preceded in death by his parents.
All visitors will be required to wear masks or face coverings.
