Memorial Service for Mrs. Robbie Vann, 81, of Alexander City, will be Saturday Mar. 8, 2025, at 2pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Robbie Vann, affectionately known by many as Robbie, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, at the age of 81. Her life was marked by an abundance of love, kindness, and a warm, friendly spirit that touched everyone she met. Born on December 27, 1943, Robbie grew into a woman whose very presence could light up a room and bring comfort to those around her.
Robbie's legacy is one of unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She is survived by her adoring daughter, Wendie Vann of Opelika, Alabama, who will forever cherish her mother's memory and the loving lessons she imparted. Robbie's memory will also be treasured by her brother, John Bills, and his wife, Cathy, as well as her sister-in-laws, Teresa Bills and Dolores Bills. Her influence and love extended to her many nieces, nephews, and the countless friends she made throughout her lifetime.
Robbie was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Robert Bills, her sister, Ruby Skinner, and brothers, George and Billy Bills. Each of them played a significant role in her life, and their passing left a profound impact on Robbie, who always held her family close to her heart.
Throughout her life, Robbie was known for her compassionate nature and her innate ability to connect with others. Whether offering a kind word, a listening ear, or a helping hand, she embodied the true spirit of generosity. Her warmth and friendliness were not just personality traits but were actions she lived out daily, making a difference in the lives of those she encountered.
