Funeral Service for Mrs. Robbie Sprayberry, 82, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2:30 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Byran Hatcher will officiate. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Robbie Sprayberry passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on February 28, 1943, Robbie's life was marked by her thoughtful nature, her boundless creativity, and her spirited approach to every day.
Robbie's legacy is carried on by her devoted daughter, Jennifer Hatcher and her husband Byran, of Fayetteville, NC. She was a proud grandmother to Kelly Davis, alongside her husband Neil, and Brynn Hatcher. Her joy was multiplied by her great-grandchildren, Slater Davis and Phoebe Davis, who brought her immeasurable happiness. Robbie's close-knit family also includes her loving sister, Audrey Hill, and her husband Howard, as well as her cherished niece, Tonia Barnes, her husband Tony, and their daughters, Brittany and Samantha Barnes, who all held a special place in her heart.
Robbie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Tommy Sprayberry, with whom she shared many wonderful years. She was also preceded in death by her father, Robert Dunn, and her mother, Louise Martin, who instilled in her the values of kindness and generosity that she carried throughout her life.
Robbie's creative spirit shone brightly in all her endeavors. Whether she was painting, crafting, or designing, she brought a sense of wonder and joy to those around her. Her thoughtful gestures and her ability to find beauty in the ordinary made every moment special for those she encountered.
Her spirited personality was contagious, and she had an exceptional ability to uplift others with her positivity. Robbie's zest for life was evident in her infectious smile and the enjoyment she took in everyday activities and the numerous projects she undertook with enthusiasm. Her presence was a source of comfort and inspiration, and her absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
