Graveside Service for Mrs. Robbie Nell Price, 92, of New Site, Alabama, will be Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Randy Anderson and Rev. Donald DeLee will officiate.
Robbie Nell Price, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, at the age of 92 in Alexander City, Alabama. Born on February 25, 1932, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, Robbie lived a life characterized by her gentle spirit and unwavering devotion to her family and the Lord.
A lifelong resident of Alabama, Robbie was known for her simple yet profound approach to life. She found joy in the everyday, whether it was tending to her beautiful garden or spending time at West End Church, where she was a cherished member. Robbie's love for the Lord was evident in all she did, and her faith-filled presence was a source of comfort and inspiration to those around her.
Robbie's legacy is carried on through her loving family, who were the center of her world. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Renelda Shealy (Ronnie) Grindle of McDonough, GA; her sons, Rodney Carl Price and Randel Hershfield (Vicki) Price; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly. Her sister, Jewell Bonner, will fondly remember Robbie's loving and gentle nature. Robbie was a matriarch in every sense, providing guidance, support, and unconditional love to each generation.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Hershfield Bonner; her mother, Mittie Arvella Bonner; her sisters, Vida Mae Green, Nannie Lee Whiteard, and Annie Ruth Allen; and her brothers, John Dean Bonner and Hurshel Bonner.
Robbie's life was a testament to the virtues of kindness, patience, and humility. Her gentle demeanor was a comfort to all who knew her, and her loving nature was the cornerstone upon which her family was built. Robbie's faith was her guiding light, and she lived every day with a heart full of grace and gratitude.
In her community, Robbie was known for her beautiful flower gardens, which were a reflection of her love for beauty and nature. She could often be found outside, hands in the earth, nurturing her plants with the same tenderness she showed to her family and friends. Her gardens were a symbol of her ability to cultivate growth and beauty in all aspects of life.
Robbie's impact on those she left behind is immeasurable. Her life was a lesson in love, her actions a sermon in service. She will be remembered not only for the life she lived but also for the countless lives she touched with her loving, faith-filled, and gentle spirit.
As we say goodbye to Robbie Nell Price, we celebrate a life well-lived and a soul that has undoubtedly found its place in Heaven. Her memory will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she loved, like the flowers she so tenderly cared for in her garden. Robbie's spirit will forever be a guiding light for her family, her church, and all who were blessed to know her.
