Funeral Mass for Mrs. Rita Smith, 88, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the St John the Apostle Catholic Church. Father Thomas Gopu will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pineview Memor Read Obituary
I have had the privilege of sharing many fond memories with my friends about my wonderful friend Rita. There is a hole left in my heart and I will never forget our many years of adventures and how she mentored me and so many others at Russell Medical. I thank God Rita was in my life for so many years and I will cherish every memory of her even up to my last visit with her. My thoughts and prayers are for Smitty and her family,
