Mr. Riley Eugene Foshee's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Riley Eugene Foshee, 72, of New Site, will be Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Foshee passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Grandview Medical Center. He was born on February 18, 1953 to Jeanie Russell Foshee and Bernie Hutcherson Foshee. Eugene lived a life marked by service and passion. He proudly served his country with honor in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Following his military service, Eugene found great satisfaction in his longtime career at Legacy Cabinets, where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impact. His love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him; hunting and fishing were more than hobbies-they were a testament to his connection with nature.
A proud member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Eugene's commitment to history and heritage was unwavering. Yet, above all, it was the love for his family that truly defined him. Eugene's zest for life extended to travel, exploring new horizons and creating memories that will endure in the hearts of those who loved him.
Eugene's legacy will continue to be honored by the many lives he touched. His spirit, characterized by generosity and determination, will forever be remembered.
He is survived by his daughters, Crystal (Walt) Melton of Hackneyville and Jamie Moore of Alexander City; sons, Riley (Jamie) Foshee of Oxford, Joshua Mark Foshee of New Site, and A.J. Foshee of New Site; grandchildren, Maria Moore, Austin Moore, Jayden Melton, Mallory Foshee, Leah Foshee, and Caleb Foshee; sisters, Belinda (Wayne) Daughtry and Barbara Blankenship.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald Foshee and Bernard Foshee.
