Mrs. Rebecca Jane Wallace's Obituary
Mrs. Rebecca Jane Wallace passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at her residence. She was born on December 11, 1939 in Empire, Walker County, Alabama to Kenneth Tucker and Ruth O. Rhodes Tucker. She enjoyed showing old cars with her husband, Jerry. She enjoyed traveling and riding the Harley. She was an avid Auburn fan, could really yell War Eagle, and loved to make people laugh. She loved to dance so much that any time music was playing, she would start dancing. It was said that she lit up a room when she walked in. Most of all, Mrs. Rebecca loved her family, especially the grandkids, and the time she spent with them. She hoped that everyone would celebrate her life rather than mourning her death.
She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Milam of Alexander City, Mary Ruth Curry of Hueytown, and Rose Minyard of Trussville; sons, Vincent Gugliotta of Springville, Jeff Wallace of Helena, and Greg Wallace of FL; grandchildren, Jay Curry, David Wayne Milam, Jr., Cpl. Sawyer B. Milam, USMC, Brittany Whitworth (Jon), Tiffany Minyard, and Brandon Minyard; great-grandchild, Waylon Milam; and brother, Danny Tucker of New Site.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dixie Mitchell; and husband, Jerry Lamonte Wallace.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
