Becky's enduring love story with her husband, Rick Barnes, spanned over 53 years, a journey filled with shared dreams and cherished moments. Together, they built a life rich in love and companionship. Their bond was further strengthened by the joy of their daughter, Kimberly (Shane Causey) Jones, and the laughter of their grandchildren, Jamie Glover, Jordan (Laura Carter) Glover, Sara (Gus McConnell) Jensen, and Tyler Jensen. Becky's legacy continued to blossom with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Scarlett Perdue and Lillyann Dearing, who brought her immense pride and happiness.
A sister of unwavering support and friendship, Becky is also survived by her brother, Don (Donna) Major, and sister, Rosemary Cobb. Her extended family, including her nephew, Christopher Dennard, niece, Alicia Wheeler, and several other nieces and nephews, will remember her as a pillar of strength and a source of endless encouragement.
Becky's professional life was marked by a dedicated 25-year career at Russell Medical, where she not only excelled in her work but also forged lasting friendships and made significant contributions to the community. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her active participation in her Christian community, where she lived out her beliefs through acts of kindness and service.
Travel was one of Becky's greatest pleasures, and she cherished the opportunity to explore the United States with Rick. These adventures created a tapestry of memories that they would fondly recount to friends and family. Her love for her grandchildren was unparalleled, and she seized every opportunity to be involved in their lives, celebrating their achievements and supporting them through life's challenges.
Becky's affection for her feline companions was well known; she found great comfort and joy in their presence. Her pets were more than just animals; they were a part of her family and a source of endless entertainment.
