Baby Raymond Cole Davidson's Obituary
A Memorial Service for Baby Raymond Cole Davidson will be Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Raymond Cole Davidson was born on Friday, March 24, 2023 in Sylacauga, Alabama to Cole Davidson and LeAnna Tate. He fell asleep peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Little Raymond was only here for a short time, but his presence will never be forgotten. He had blue eyes like his daddy, a smile that could bring you to your knees, and a laugh that warmed your heart.
From day one, Raymond already had a personality that brought so much joy to his family. He was a happy, wiggly, and curious baby who loved to look at the different sights, sounds, and colors that flooded the world around him. His eyes grew big in awe with the singing of the birds and the rustling of the leaves in the wind. Raymond loved all of his stuffed animals, especially his teddy bears. His chubby cheeks and giggles caused many competitions among the daycare staff on who would get to hold him next. He didn't mind the hugs and snuggles as long as no one touched his feet. Raymond was lucky to be surrounded by a large and loving family that will miss him so much. He brought 93 beautiful days of joy, love, personality and memories to his family.
He is survived by his mother, LeAnna Tate; father, Cole Davidson; grandparents, Julie (Lamar) Weithoner; Charles (Terri) Davidson, Robert (Jackie) Moody; great-grandmother, Diane Moncrief; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Stephanie Davidson, grandfather, Paul Weithoner; and great-grandfather, Raymond Butler, whom he was affectionately named after.
"How very softly you tiptoed into our world, almost silently, only a moment you stayed. But what an imprint your footprints have left upon our hearts." -Dorothy Ferguson
